Rather than grilling, we choose steaming to gently draw out the natural flavor of each ingredient without relying on excess oil. We carefully pursue a soft, fluffy texture and a refined, delicate finish that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

Visited BEROMARU in Osaka’s Nipponbashi. Their signature Beef Tongue Shumai, created by the team behind Yakiniku Shingen, pairs perfectly with beer. The steamed pork and steamed chicken are also excellent. In warmer weather, the outdoor seating is especially pleasant, and enjoying shumai while taking in the evening atmosphere of Nipponbashi is a real treat. It’s also a great stop for the second or third round of the night.
